Nice enough article. When you play in the PIFL I suppose you’d be happy if anyone noticed you. I go to Freedom games because (a) I love football – and not just the NFL – I actually love FOOTBALL. (b) the price is reasonable (c) the players are good athletes and they play hard and (d) I like football (it bears repeating). The crowds aren’t big and the player money stinks, but these kids are still chasing their dreams and it’s fun to watch.
NOTE: I also attend Lakewood Blueclaws games for baseball because I like parking in the same zip code as the stadium and being able to get a beer and a hot dog in under three innings and for less than the average annual income of 90% of the third world’s population. So, call me a goober or whatever, but I’m having a great time. Join me sometime, you might be surprised just how much fun it is.
